When you receive your package, plug in the base station somewhere in the middle of the home and switch it on. If you wish, you can check on your loved one any time you like thanks to the Vivago mobile app.

If their state of wellbeing changes for the worse, whether that's suddenly or gradually, Vivago will pick up on it and sound the alarm. Your questions answered

Vivago consists of three parts: the watch, the base station and the Vista server.

The watch measures the person’s activity levels and sends its data to the base station by radio. The base station communicates with the Vista server over mobile internet, where data is analysed using advanced algorithms. This analysis is what allows the Vivago solution to capture the well-being of its wearer and trigger automatic alarms.

For remote assistance solutions like Vivago, a multi-network SIM is used so that any mobile network in the UK can be used by the base station. It is therefore very unlikely that signal problems will occur. However, there are other options if the signal proves to be unreliable. Contact us to discuss the options.
The watch is waterproof and can be worn in the shower or in the bath. However, it is not suitable for swimming with, or in hot environments like saunas or other high humidity conditions.

Vivago is far more than an emergency call button.

The Vivago solution monitors the user’s activity, sleep and circadian rhythm, allowing it to create a holistic view of users’ wellbeing. If it changes – slowly or quickly – the Vivago solution automatically detects these changes and will send alarms and notifications.

This helps to better target care, prevent further deterioration of conditions and accidents, and catch warning signs of previously undetected health problems.

The base stations contain a backup battery that lasts approximately 15 hours, so there’s no loss of function while power is restored.

The Care Watch lasts for around 3 months on one charge.

The charging time for the watch is one to two hours. The watch notifies the wearer and all app users that the battery is low well in advance.

One of Vivago’s most innovative features is that it doesn’t base its alarms on an “ideal” person – there’s no such thing! We are all different. Vivago will accumulate unique activity data about the wearer and use it to determine whether or not their state of well-being is improving or deteriorating. This makes Vivago very effective in detecting positive or negative changes in the well-being of the wearer, because it is adapted to them and only to them.

The warranty for Vivago products is valid for two years. However, as this is a leasing service, you never need worry about the watch or base station going out of warranty. If anything stops working, we’ll replace it, free of charge.
